Beautiful antique framed lithograph titled “Rückkehr vom Felde” (“Return From the Field”) after the French academic painter Édouard Bernard Debat-Ponsan. This pastoral rural scene depicts a horse-drawn cart beside a tranquil water landscape and captures the romantic countryside style popular in the late 19th century.

The print was originally published around the 1890s in Moderne Kunst and remains a wonderful example of Victorian and European rural genre artwork. The piece is signed “Hepworth” to the lower left and is presented in a beautiful dark wood frame with an elegant gilt inner border.
