Meet The Château Blanket Chest – an antique oak trunk reimagined with timeless French country charm.

This characterful piece began as a traditional oak blanket box and has been lovingly restored and elevated. The wood has been bleached and softly washed, then carefully dark waxed in areas to enhance depth, age, and patina, bringing out its authentic antique charm.
To add romance and individuality, decoupage paper detailing has been applied and gently aged with dark wax so it blends seamlessly with the character of the piece – nothing feels new or out of place. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered.
The bottom has been newly fitted, ensuring strength and longevity, while two heavy French-style curved handles have been added on each side for both practicality and decorative impact.
